The final non-refundable payment of the final balance is due 90 days before the arrival in New Zealand.

For bookings made within 90 days of commencement of travel within New Zealand, one final non refundable payment will be required upon confirmation of services.

During the itinerary The Exquisite Group agrees that the client may elect to change parts of the itinerary due to weather or personal circumstances.  In the event of any change or cancellation by the client, The Exquisite Group will use its best endeavours to obtain any refund where a pre-payment has been made. The client agrees that any cancellation may result in a 100% charge against the deposit resulting in no refund particularly in the event of the client cancelling accommodation bookings.

The Exquisite Group and the client acknowledge that this Agreement is governed by the Laws of New Zealand and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts in respect of all matters relating to it.

All or any fine, debt or charge of any nature whatsoever, including legal costs incurred by the client while in country are and remain the sole responsibility of the client.

Health & Passport Information

You will need a current government issued passport to travel to New Zealand. There are no compulsory health formalities for New Zealand. It is your responsibility to check your passport Is valid and to obtain any necessary visas or entry permits. We cannot accept responsibility for any delays or expense incurred through irregularities in your travel documents.

Entry requirements

From 1 October 2019, all travellers, with the exception of New Zealand and Australian passport holders, require either a visitors visa; or if holding a passport from a visa-waiver country (including USA, Canada, UK, European Union countries, Hong Kong, Singapore and some South American nations), will require an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Visit: www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas to ensure you have the correct documentation for travel, or to apply for a visa.

The following items cannot be brought into New Zealand unless specific provision has been made for their exemption – firearms (including sporting firearms) and weapons (unless a permit is obtained from New Zealand Police on arrival at the airport); pirated copyright goods; objectionable (indecent) articles, such as DVDs and publications.

New Zealand is free of many insects and pests, plant diseases and animal infections that are common elsewhere in the world. Substantial fines will be incurred if you arrive carrying animal products including skin, hair, dung, feathers, bone, coral, eggs and sea shells. Some are banned because they can harbour pests and diseases; others because they pose a threat to endangered species. Fresh perishable foodstuffs, such as fruit, vegetables and meat and items manufactured from plant products are also prohibited.

Travel Insurance

Unexpected situations can arise before or during your holiday so we recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover (without limitation):

Loss of money through cancellation or deferment due to unforeseen circumstances; loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and other valuables; medical expenses;

  • Additional expenses to cover accommodation and repatriation costs to your home country should the trip need to be extended or curtailed due to illness while in New Zealand,
  • Or due to the need to return home because of an unexpected death or illness of a close relative;
  • Non-refundable elements of your travel and itinerary.
